Acceptable use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use. You will not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its servers, or any connected systems.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or breach its security or authentication measures.
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to extract content beyond what a normal browser would access.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
- Interfere with the Site’s normal operation or with another visitor’s use.
- Misrepresent your identity or the source of any communication.
Intellectual property
All original content on this Site — including songs, sound recordings, lyrics, compositions, photos, videos, blog posts, sermon and worship notes, and graphics — is protected by U.S. and international copyright law. All rights reserved.
Compositions. Original songs (lyrics and music) on this Site are © Nicholas James Sanders and are registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. Manfishers Music Publishing — a DBA of Nicholas James Sanders — is the publisher of record and administers all publishing rights, including mechanical, performance, sync, and print licenses.
Sound recordings. Master recordings released under our name are produced by Manfishers Music Publishing and are ℗ Manfishers Music Publishing / Nick & Ashley Sanders. Streaming and download access is administered through the platforms where the music is distributed — Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, and other licensed services. You may listen, save to personal libraries, and share platform-generated links freely. You may not download, redistribute, sample, remix, broadcast, or sync our recordings to other media without a written license from Manfishers Music Publishing.
Cover songs and third-party rights. Some videos and recordings on this Site — including cover performances on our YouTube channel and embedded “Watch & Worship” sessions — feature compositions written by other songwriters and publishers. Those compositions remain the property of their respective copyright holders, and we make no claim of ownership over the underlying songs. Our use of those compositions is licensed depending on context:
- Live worship performances at partner churches — performed and projected under the host church’s CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing International) license, which covers both the live performance of the composition and the on-screen display of lyrics during the service.
- YouTube videos and online “Watch & Worship” sessions — licensed either through YouTube’s standard music-rights agreements with publishers, or through direct sync and mechanical licenses we have obtained for that specific use.
If you are a rights holder and have a question about a specific cover, email [email protected].
Site content. You may share links to any page on this Site freely. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from Site content (text, images, embedded video, downloads, lead-sheets, chord charts, sermon and worship notes, blog posts) without written permission, except as expressly allowed by a license we publish — for example, the Song Use Agreement on the Resources page.
Third-party links and embeds
The Site embeds and links to content on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube, and other services. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of those third parties.
Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, completeness, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nick & Ashley Sanders and Manfishers Music Publishing will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
